New work is pulled off the press regularly. The studio gallery shows a constantly changing exhibition of work made on the premises. OPEN DAYS allow an opportunity to view and purchase work directly from the artist, to see the studio in use and a chance to discuss individual artists' needs for printmaking.

Lathe and Plaster: Crown and Kettle, Ancoats,
Manchester.
Abandonment and a fire-bomb reduced The Crown and Kettle to semi-dereliction. Blistered plaster remains as a feature within the newly restored public house. This print, one of a series of four, was made of the scorched interior before the public house was repaired. 05/C/An/1

Roof Roof: Murrays’ Mills, Ancoats, Manchester.
As a part of the restoration of the first steam powered mill to be built, bitumen smothered textile was removed form the building’s roof in 2006. Collaged onto a printing block the intricacies of the material’s surface are revealed once printed. 06/C/An/1

Spray Booth Spray Booth: Murrays’ Mills, Ancoats, Manchester.
Used by a sign writer as a spray booth, a wall of the engine house at Murrays’ Mills held onto the paint used in the craft-man’s art. Layers built over the years to make a solid structure 14cms thick. The rubbings were made by working thick, damp paper into the stalactites of solid paint, then layering each indent with colour. 06/Rub/An/1

Loofha Loofha: Murrays’ Mills, Ancoats, Manchester.

Repairs to the fabric of the cotton mills in Ancoats added levels of rich patina to the buildings, most of which was stripped away during the process of restoration. Ice rots as the temperature rises in the early spring in Canada.
